Hey for those of you who don't know me uh... I'm Catherine and I [glow=red,2,300]LOVE TO READ!!![/glow] Anyone who does know me will agree. So I'd just like to get to know what books everyone is reading, authors, fantasy, sci-fi, anything. Your favourite books, movies made from books. Anything. I guess my favourite authors would be Lewis and Tolkien, for obvious reasons ;D My favourite type, I guess you could say, of book would have to be fantasy. I love just reading the day away especially on rainy afternoons. My favourite series of books would have to be The Chronicles Of Narnia and Th Lord of The Rings, including The Hobbit. So anyway thats a little glimpse into my reading life, I really hope that people will post here. Anyway I'd love to know so post- PLEASE!!!

Well....
You've already stated my two favorite authors. Right now I'm reading Mere Christianity by Clive Staples Lewis, and it is so good. I highly recomend it.
Aside from these masters and their masterful books, ( : For a fun, light read I'd recomend these books:
The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. Kids books, yes... but really good, funny, well-written... etc. I love em!
The Princess Bride by Wiliam Goldman. You might have seen the film of this... I really like the film too. I must mention that there are some iffy things in the book.. but nothing uber bad.
Well, that's only a few books on a long list of books I like... but I'll stop there for now. ( :

I have read Mere Christianity also. Sonetimes I found it hard to read, but it was good. I am thinking of rereading it because it is hard to take it all at once. An extremly good book for guys is Thoughts for Young Men. Very challengeing. Send me a mesage if you wan't to read it. Sorry, doesn't help you much Catherine. But this might. THe Silmarilion. If you like LOTR, this is the historys of the time before time, and the First and Second Ages. It gets hard to read in the middle 'cause its not as exiting as LOTR, but it gets good at the end. The famed tale of Beren and Luthien is in it.
