What are some of your favourite verses? I like Hebrews 12:1, 13:5, 1 Peter 3:11, and 2 Peter 3:13.
I like the first verse because gives a picture of how we are to live the Christian life. The second verse listed challenged me to be content with God alone. The third verse says, "he must turn from evil and do good, he must seek peace and pursue it". This shows how it's not good enough to NOT to evil; one must actively pursue peace and decide to 'do good'. I like the last verse mentioned because it has that tone of expectancy and hope found so often in the Bible. It give us hope of a better future, where we will be righteous and the problems of this world will be gone - eternaly. It gives us a reason to "run with perservereance the race marked out for us."

I like those verses too! (Although, I must say that Hebrews 12:29 is a great verse because it's so short. I got a quote on it once, and loved it.)

I like romans 8:38-39. "For I am convinced, that neither death nor live, neither angels nor deamons, neither the pressent nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(I hope I got that right)
